Polyethylene oxide and polyacrylic acid can react to form a polymer. This reaction is usually achieved by copolymerizing polyethylene oxide with polyacrylic acid under appropriate conditions.

During the reaction process, the ethylene oxide monomer (also known as ethylene glycol or ethoxyethylene) in polyethylene oxide will react with the acrylic acid monomer in polyacrylic acid. This reaction can be carried out at high temperatures and in the presence of initiators or catalysts.

The specific reaction mechanism can be a free radical copolymerization reaction, where the initiator or catalyst triggers free radical polymerization between ethylene acid and ethylene oxide. The polymerization reaction takes place on the double bond between ethylene acid and ethylene oxide, causing the molecular chain of the polymer to gradually grow and ultimately form a polymer product.

This polymer can have certain characteristics, such as improving the solubility of polyacrylic acid, enhancing its adhesion performance, and regulating its rheological properties. It has extensive applications in many fields, including coatings, adhesives, adhesives, medical materials, etc.
