KR-318B is a cationic quaternary ammonium salt polymer, chemically known as Poly(2-hydroxypropyl dimethyl ammonium chloride) . It is a non-foaming, non-irritating biocide and algicide, effective against a wide range of microorganisms, including sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), and is also a good slime stripper and water clarifier . Main Applications & Usage
KR-318B is versatile and finds use in several key areas:

Water Treatment: Used as a bactericidal algaecide and stripping agent for swimming pools, spas, landscape water, and industrial circulating water systems . It is particularly suitable for application in alkaline water .

Oil & Gas: Applied in oilfield water injection systems, where it effectively controls SRB and biofilm on equipment pipelines at typical operational temperatures (20°C to 65°C) .

Compatibility: It is compatible with non-ionic and cationic materials but cannot be used simultaneously with anions .

Dosing: It is generally applied by slug/impact dosing. A typical dosage concentration is 20-100 ppm, with application frequency recommended at once every 15 to 30 days depending on the system.

Safety & Handling
Safety: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water.

Storage: Store in a shady, dry place at room temperature. Recommended shelf life is 10 to 12 months.

Packaging: Typically available in 25L drums, 200L drums, or IBCs.
