Deoxidizer action

Deoxidizers are chemicals used to remove oxygen from water or other media. Their main functions include the following aspects:

Protecting metals: Oxygen can cause metal corrosion and oxidation, and the use of deoxidizers can reduce or prevent the reaction between metals and oxygen, thereby reducing corrosion and extending the service life of metals.

Preventing oxidation reactions: Many chemical reactions require anaerobic conditions, as oxygen can interfere or disrupt the progress of specific reactions. Deoxidizers can eliminate oxygen from the reaction system, provide an anaerobic environment, and promote the required reaction.

Maintaining the freshness of food and drugs: Oxygen is one of the main factors causing food and drug spoilage. During the packaging and storage process of food and drugs, deoxidizers can absorb the oxygen inside the packaging, slow down the oxidation reaction of food and drugs, and extend their shelf life and effectiveness.

Ensure the safety of reactors or storage facilities: Some reactions or storage processes may produce flammable, explosive, or toxic gases. In these cases, deoxidizers can eliminate oxygen in the reactors or storage facilities, reducing the risk of fire, explosion, and toxicity.

It should be noted that the selection and use of deoxidizer MBT must be based on specific applications and needs, and follow corresponding safety operating procedures. Different deoxidizers are suitable for different environments and conditions.
