The main components of oxidative bactericidal agents include chlorine and peroxides. The following are common components of oxidizing bactericidal and algicidal agents:

Hypochloric acid (HClO): Hypochloric acid is a highly oxidizing substance that can quickly kill bacteria, viruses, and algae. It can release free chloride ions (Cl -) in water and has a broad-spectrum bactericidal effect.

Chlorine (Cl2): Chlorine is a yellow green irritating gas with h3 bactericidal effects. It will react with water molecules in water to generate hypochloric acid and hydrochloric acid, thereby exerting bactericidal and disinfection effects.
