The main purpose of lithium battery dispersant is to maintain a uniform dispersion of positive and negative electrode materials, improve the performance and cycle life of the battery. The specific components may vary depending on the manufacturer and product, but generally speaking, the main components of lithium battery dispersants can include the following:

Polymer: Common polymer materials, such as polyacrylates and polyvinyl alcohol, can be used as the main components of dispersants for lithium batteries. These polymer polymers have good dispersibility and adhesion, which can form a uniform coating in the battery and stably disperse the positive and negative electrode materials.

Surfactants: Surfactants are often used in lithium battery dispersants to enhance their dispersion effect. For example, sulfonated polymer surfactants, Alkyl Benzene Sulfonates, etc. Surfactants can reduce the surface tension between particles and promote their dispersion and suspension.

Organic solvent: In order to evenly dissolve and coat the dispersant on the electrode material, an appropriate amount of organic solvent is often added as a carrier in the dispersant for lithium batteries. Common organic solvents include methanol, ethanol, acetone, etc. These solvents can dissolve with polymer and surfactant to form a coating able mixed solution.

It should be noted that the specific composition and ratio of lithium battery dispersants may vary depending on the application and requirements. Therefore, in practical applications, appropriate dispersants should be selected based on specific needs and follow the usage guidelines provided by the manufacturer.
