Boiler rust remover, corrosion and scale inhibitor

Posted on August 10, 2023 By admin No Comments on Boiler rust remover, corrosion and scale inhibitor

Boiler rust remover, corrosion inhibitor, and scale inhibitor are water treatment agents used in boiler systems, which mainly have the following functions:

Rust removal: Boiler rust remover can dissolve and remove rust, oxides, and other attachments within the boiler system, clean metal surfaces, and restore the good condition of pipelines and equipment.

Corrosion inhibitor: The corrosion inhibitor in the boiler rust remover can form a protective film that covers the metal surface, reducing the contact between the metal and water, thereby reducing the occurrence of corrosion.

Scale inhibitor: The scale inhibitor in boiler rust remover can inhibit the crystallization and deposition of salts and hardness substances in water, prevent the formation of deposits such as lime and scale inside the boiler, and maintain heat exchange efficiency.

The method of using boiler rust remover, corrosion inhibitor, and scale inhibitor is as follows:

Initial dosing: Before the boiler system starts operating, the initial dosing is required first. Add the boiler rust remover, corrosion inhibitor, and scale inhibitor to the water according to the product manual or manufacturer’s recommended dosage, and ensure that they are fully mixed.

Regular maintenance: During the operation of the boiler, regular maintenance and dosing are required. The frequency and dosage of dosing are determined based on the actual situation and the water quality of the boiler system. It is usually recommended to add each cycle to maintain good rust removal and scale inhibition effects.

Control water quality: In addition to using boiler rust removers, corrosion and scale inhibitors, it is also necessary to regularly check the water quality and make necessary adjustments. This includes adjusting parameters such as pH, hardness, and alkalinity to maintain suitable water quality conditions.

Monitoring effect: Regularly monitor water quality and check the effectiveness of rust removers and scale inhibitors. According to the monitoring results, adjust the dosage and operation in a timely manner to maintain a good water treatment effect.

When using boiler rust removers, corrosion inhibitors, and scale inhibitors, it is necessary to strictly follow the recommendations and relevant operating procedures in the product manual to ensure safe use and optimal results. Regular maintenance and monitoring are important steps in maintaining the good operation of the boiler system.
