Surface active agents are a type of chemicals that reduce liquid surface tension. They play a key role in many applications. Here are the main functions of surfactants:

Moisturizer: Surface active agents can separate dirt from surface and mix with water to form emulsion or collagen solutions. They can surround and disperse dirt particles, so that they are suspended in the solution, thereby achieving a cleaning effect.

Emulse agent: Surface active agents can form emulsion mixture between insoluble liquids (such as oil and water). They can reduce the surface tension between liquids, and scattered and stable oil droplets in water, thereby achieving emulsification effect. This is often used in the food, cosmetics, coatings and other industries to prepare it in lotion, cream, cream and other products.

Differentians: Surface active agents can change the surface properties of solid or liquid particles, so that they are scattered and distributed in the solution. They can reduce the attractiveness between particles, prevent particles from gathering and precipitating, thereby achieving decentralized effects. This is often used in pigments, coatings, inks and other industries.

Soluble: Surface active agent can promote the dissolution of non -dissolved substances (such as gas, liquid or solid) in liquid. They can form a beam structure between water and non -polar solvents (such as oil), so that non -polarized substance molecules are discrete and evenly distributed in water, thereby increasing its solubility.

The wetting agent: The surfactant can reduce the contact angle of the liquid on the solid surface, so that the droplets are expanded on the solid surface, and they can better contact and penetrate. This is often used to improve the wetting performance of liquid in cleaning agents, coatings, pesticides and other industries.

In short, surfactants play an important role in various fields, including cleaning, decentralization, emulsification, dissolving and wetting. By changing the interaction between the liquid and the solid, they have realized the practical application of many industries and daily life.
