Mechanism: RO antiscalants work by interfering with the precipitation and crystallization processes of scale-forming minerals such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, strontium sulfate, and silica. They do this by dispersing these minerals and keeping them in a dissolved state.
